Welcome to the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department's
web site! Over the next few months we will be adding feature
stories, photos
and links to help you gain a better understanding of the
valuable role that
the department volunteers fill. The Moscow Volunteer Fire Department
has been estimated to save more than 4 million dollars annually
- using volunteer firefighters and EMTs - while providing
the same high quality fire suppression services and patient
care that many cities pay for. If you have questions
about the department

Moscow Memorial Day
Published: 05-29-2006
Retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. Robert E. Wakefield speaks at the Memorial Day ceremony today in Moscow’s East City Park. He asked those present to remember those who gave their lives in service, and to honor those who have committed their lives to their country, their communities and families. The ceremony was organized by the Moscow Dudley Loomis American Legion Post No. 6 and the Hawley-Jameson VFW Post No. 2905.
